	On Chakotay's initial first contact assignment his ship was to make contact with Tarkannan's. He studied all the information they had and pestered the captain into letting him be part of the diplomatic team. When he came face-to-face with the Tarkannan delegation, he made the traditional gesture for hello, not realizing that males and females of their race use different styles of movement, and accidentally propositioned  the Ambassador.
	Tuvok's children had already mastered sveral states of heightened awareness by the time they were the young age he believes the Drayan children to be. Tuvok used to play his lute and sing "Falor's Journey" to his four children when they cold not sleep. His youngest son was particularly fond of the song. Tuvok can go several days without rest if necessary.
