Imperfection Trivia

Seven's list of the dead includes a "Commander J. Bartlett". However this person's rank would mean that if he was part of Voyager's original Starfleet crew he would have outranked even First Officer Lt. Cmdr. Cavit and if he was Maquis, he would have been equal in rank to Chakotay, which would seem unlikely given that Chakotay had to fight Janeway to get members of his crew (namely Torres) to hold seniority.

Seven says "several" crew members have died, and puts a list of 10 up on the astrometrics screen. In addition to Kaplan, Ballard and Lang, the list includes Commander J. Bartlett, Lt. Cdr. L. McGarry, Lt. Cdr. T. Ziegler, Lt. J. Lyman, Lt. S. Seaborn, Ens. Claudia J. Craig and Ens. Charles Young. For an amazing coincidence, consult the names of the main characters of The West Wing. Apparently the graphics designer is a fan (in one of the DVD featurettes, Denise Okuda has a "Bartlett for President" sticker prominently displayed in her office).

This episode takes place after "Drive", even though it was aired and is officially listed chronologically before it. Some continuity errors include: Tom Paris wearing a wedding ring when he and B'Elanna don't get married until the next episode, and the crew using the Delta Flyer, even though "Drive" features the new Flyer's "test flight".

When Neelix asks Seven to play Kadis-kot (a game featuring green and red pieces), Seven says she prefers the green pieces. Yet, in the season 4 episode The Gift she says that "Annika's" (her human name) favorite color was red.
