Critical Care Trivia

TREKCORE > VOY > EPISODES > CRITICAL CARE > Trivia

The Doctor has previously shown that he holds a strict interpretation of the Hippocratic oath, and he will not cause any harm, even for the greater good (re: Tuvix). This interpretation would hold that his ethical subroutines would not have allowed him to infect Chelleck in order to save other lives. The assertion that they were therefore in perfect working order is therefore an unlikely one.

The special effect used when the Doctor is moved from patient to patient on Level Blue is the same as the holographic activation and deactivation effect. However, the Doctor is wearing his mobile emitter, and so should be transported from location to location, not deactivated and reactivated in another position.

Gar is trading in iridium which is claimed to have a very short half life, allowing Tuvok to deduce how far away Gar could have gotten with it. In reality iridium is a stable metal and has no half life.
