	Paris's gambling operation is presumably the first step in Janeway and Tuvok's plan to discredit Paris in the hope they can iscover who on the ship is providing information to the Kazon. As will be learned later, Chakotay is not aware of the trap that later reveals crewman Jonas to be a traitor ("Investigations").
