Chakotay is shot down on a planet in the
midst of a bloody civil war. Taken in by friendly humanoids,
he comes to share their hatred of their beastly-looking
enemies. It is those enemies, however, with whom Voyager
makes contact, learning that Chakotay's experiences are not
what they appear to be.
