This episode
continues the already established Voyager tradition of darkened or
blacked out set pieces, a production tool first used in the season 3
episode "Macrocosm" but continued in "Prey" and "Demon" (both season
4). Of particular note are "Night" (season 5) and "The Haunting of
Deck Twelve" (season 6) where a large part of the action takes place
in almost complete darkness, creating added atmosphere and tension
to events. |
