	PLAYED BY: Robert Picardo SPECIES: Hologram Lewis Zimmerman was a noted 24th century Human scientist, responsible for the creation and development of the Emergency Medical Hologram, or "EMH" and considered to be the father of modern holography. He was also the model for the image of the EMH Mark I, a fact that he found to be a great source of embarrassment when wide scale use of the Mark I was discontinued and the holograms later re utilized to perform menial tasks.
	PLAYED BY: Carole Davis SPECIES: Hologram The Doctor performed the duet O, Soave Fanciulla with a holographic re-creation of Giuseppina Pentangeli. However, the hologram of Pentangeli also duplicated her vanity and demanding temperament. The Doctor insulted her when he told her that she was rushing the tempo. She called him an amateur and told him he knew nothing about opera. The Doctor considered singing with Maria Callas next time instead.
	PLAYED BY: Steven Houska SPECIES: Mislenite Male The USS Voyager transported him off his freigther to sickbay. He explained to Captain Kathryn Janeway that his ship was attacked by hundreds of ships that attached to the hull of his ship and drained its energy. Chardis said that his ship did not provoke them that they were attacked because the ship was in Swarm space. He said that his crew died excruciating deaths. He gave Janeway the location of his planet and asked her to warn his people to stay out of the Swarm's space. Chardis later died aboard the USS Voyager from his injuries.
