Ambassador Treen was a Kradin diplomat in the 2370s. In 2374, the crew of the USS Voyager contacted Treen to enlist his people's assistance after crew member Chakotay was captured by the Kradin's enemies, the Vori.

SPECIES: Vori Male

Brone was a Vori soldier who was involved in attempting to indoctrinate Chakotay into the Vori army by instilling in him a fanatical hatred of the Kradin. To this end, the Vori used drugs and placed Chakotay in a controlled "simulation" to convince him that he had witnessed Kradin atrocities. In this simulation, Brone was the leader of a group of Vori soldiers trying to defend Vori civilians from the Kradin.

Karya, a Vori child, was the central character in a Vori brainwashing simulation used on Commander Chakotay in 2374. Its purpose was to program Chakotay into hating the Kradin, whom the Vori were at war with, and joining their war effort. The simulation presented Karya as an innocent child beset by the ravages of war. She was a resident of the Larhana settlement.

The Kradin Soldier was a character in a brain washing scenario that was used to convince Chakotay to fight for the Vori. He killed Rafin, another character who was young and was befriended by Chakotay. This was used to incense Chakotay into hating the Kradin.

SPECIES: Vori Female

Marna was a character in a brainwashing scenario created by the Vori to convince Chakotay to hate their enemy the Kradin and fight for them. She was part of a village that helped Chakotay when he was wounded in battle. She called him a glorious defender and offered him food and shelter.

Male

Penno was kindly elderly gentleman who was grandfather to a young girl named Karya, another character in the simulation. Penno help nurse Chakotay's wounds. He told him about the atrocities the Kradin had done. Penno's village was captured by the Kradin and he was sent off to an extermination camp by them. This was witnessed by Chakotay and he vowed revenge against the Kradin. Chakotay was later rescued by Tuvok who convinced him that he had been brainwashed, by taking him back to the same village simulation where he was again greeted by the Penno character.

Namon was a character in a Vori mind-altering simulation that was used to brainwash Chakotay. They wanted to recruit him into their armed forces and make him hate the Kradin, who were their enemies.

Male

Rafin was a Vori defender who befriended Chakotay. He was young and inexperienced and was scared. Chakotay befriended him and promised to watch out for him. When he was killed during his first battle, Chakotay became incensed over his death and swore vengeance against the Kradin. In reality, he was a character in a brainwashing scenario that was used to convince Chakotay to fight for the Vori.
