This was just a ruse, in order to question him concerning stolen Voyager technology. He was in possession of Voyager weapons, and was wearing a Starfleet uniform. He admitted that he had purchased the items from a man named Tau, a leader of pirates who stole technology from various ships. He did not know where Tau was, as he always dealt with a go between.
	PLAYED BY: John Vargas SPECIES: N/A Tau was the leader of a group of pirates who stole USS Voyager's main computer processor, a holographic emitter, and other items right through Voyager's shielding in 2374 using translocator technology. Tau sold his stolen items from a province he controlled. He dealt mainly in weapons, and if a buyer balked at his price, he would threaten to sell the weapons to the buyer's enemies. One of the items he stole from Voyager was the Leonardo da Vinci hologram. Tau became Leonardo's "patron" and sold his inventions to the highest bidder. Captain Kathryn Janeway discovered his location, rescued Leonardo, and recovered Voyager's stolen property.
