SPECIES: Hirogen MaleKarr's
forces transformed much of Voyager into a holodeck, so that he
could hunt the crew in holographic simulations of many
historical eras and planets, including Earth's World War II and
Klingon battles. Karr, in the Nazi simulation, wore the uniform
of a Standartenführer, equivalent to a colonel. Some of the
Hirogen under his command wanted to kill the crew and move on.
He believed that the hunt had consumed the Hirogen and that
their race was dying out because of the hunt. With a holodeck,
they could keep the hunt tradition without having to spread all
over the quadrant to do it and devote more time to maintaining
their culture.- |

SPECIES: Ocampan MaleThe Hirogen
Medic assisted The Doctor in treating the crew of Voyager, who
were being used as prey in holoprograms used by the Hirogen. He
was more interested in implanting the neural interfaces that
kept the crew from knowing who they were, in order to keep them
under control, than healing the wounded. |

SPECIES: Hirogen MaleAlong with the
other Hirogen, he hunted the crew of the Voyager on the expanded
holodeck. In the Nazi simulation, Turanj held the SS rank of a
Untersturmführer. Karr believed that the Hirogen culture was
dying due to the hunt, and wished to use holodeck technology
which would preserve the tradition of the hunt, but allow the
Hirogen to maintain and improve their culture. Turanj did not
share this view. He wished to hunt and kill the crew, instead of
using them over again for other simulations. |
