	On the bridge, when the captain tells the crew she is going to destroy the vortex and be left behind, the Doctor is there but without his mobile emitter which is strange.
	Light (from stars as well as any other source) has infinite range and goes throughout the entire universe, obviously getting dimmer, but never totally fading away to total black, like in this episode. So, they could have found themselves inside some opaque cloud, but "nothingness" or a lack of nearby stars, would never create a total blackout as in this episode, because there are always more stars farther away. As implausible as it may seem, it was stated in the epsiode that high levels of theta radiation prevented them from seeing anything beyond the perimiter of the expanse.
