	If Species 8472 is planning on infiltrating and/or attacking Earth, they must have a method of travelling to the Alpha Quadrant at much greater speeds than Voyager. It therefore seems odd that, considering the alliance/trust forged with the 8472 Boothby, that Captain Janeway wouldn't at least ask for help getting home.
	Chakotay does not wear standard Starfleet rank pips, but instead wears a Maquis rank insignia. However, several people within the recreation refer to him as "Commander". Considering the untraditional rank insignia, it is quite odd that a) they were able to determine his rank, or b) they did not immediately recognize that he was not part of their simulation (or at least question why his uniform was different).
	This episode marks the second time that a simulation features Ferengi officers in Starfleet. The first was TNG's "Future Imperfect".
	Ray Walston reprises his role as groundskeeper Boothby from the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "The First Duty".
	In DS9 Nog becomes the first Ferengi in Starfleet; At the start of this episode, two Ferengi in Starfleet uniforms are seen, which brings me to believe that either Species 8472 got their "Perfect Recreation" wrong or Nog joining Starfleet opened the flood gates.
