SPECIES: Human Male
William Telfer,
another of the three crewmen, was abducted by organisms that
were thought to be dark matter lifeforms. Telfer was returned to
the Flyer with one of the aliens in his body. This frightened
Harren greatly. Soon after, the alien emerged from Telfer and
began interacting with the Flyer's environmental systems.
Panicked, Harren killed it with a phaser, eliciting an angry
rebuke from Janeway, who surmised that the alien meant no harm,
but was simply trying to communicate.
More of the aliens attacked the Flyer, presumably in revenge.
Janeway ordered the three crewmen to leave in escape pods, but
only Harren did so; the others insisted on staying and seeing it
through with Janeway. However, in a surprising act, Harren
selflessly attempted to draw the advancing aliens to the pod to
give the Flyer a chance to escape. However, Janeway took the
Flyer to transport range of the pod and had Telfer beam it
aboard. |

SPECIES: Bajoran FemaleDuring her
time at Starfleet Academy, Celes had great difficulty with her
enlistee training courses and had to work three times as hard as
her classmates in order to keep up. She frequently had to spend
all night "cramming" to pass. She believed the only reason she
graduated from training was due to sympathy over her homeworld's
conflict, and the desire of Starfleet to have Bajorans in the
service. |

SPECIES: Human MaleAmong his
crewmates, he was especially close to a Bajoran crewman named
Tal Celes. He frequently helped her perform her work as an
astrometrics sensor analyst, which she found very difficult due
to competence issues.
The mission proceeded well at first. Then their vessel, the
Delta Flyer, was struck by an unknown force which was thought to
be a dark matter proto-comet, rendering the vessel unable to
attain warp speed, thus stranding the crew several light years
from Voyager. Telfer was then transported away by what were
thought to be dark matter lifeforms.
He was returned soon after with one of the organisms inside his
body, which caused him intense pain. The organism later left
him, making an agonizing exit from his body via his neck, after
which it was killed by Harren. However, after the whole
experience, Telfer found, to his great surprise, that he had
been cured of his hypochondria.
He was last seen lying unconscious in Voyager's sickbay, along
with Janeway and the other two away team members, after Voyager
had picked up the Flyer's distress signal retrieved the
shuttlecraft. |
