Tom Paris' interpretation of the incoming morse code signal somewhat skips ahead of what is actually being received. He says "Eject Fuel/Converter Rigged" but he is just receiving
the letter "N" from the word "Converter" by the time he says "Rigged" and he gets up while the letters "VE" come through, which are the last letters we hear during the scene and we never really hear the word "Rigged" in morse code. This was obviously
done to keep the scene brief since decoding morse is a somewhat slow process and would have screwed up the pace of the scene if it were more realistic. |

Unless we are assuming that several months have passed since the events of "Unimatrix Zero, Part II", it seems pretty implausible that the Delta Flyer would either be repaired
from being blown to thousands of bits or simply replicated or re-made. I realise engineers are advanced in the 24th Century but it is highly implausible that it gets blown up but ready for a race the following episode. |
